VERY easy to put together and exactly what I was looking for. They are solid, have glass doors, which is a huge plus for those critters that will scratch up plexiglass. I bought 4 of these and might be back for 2 more before the price increases. I actually attached 2 of them together for my Ackie monitor and she absolutely loves it. I built them separately but cut a passthrough hole in 2 of the side pieces where they would be connected. Screwed them together and used silicone to seal it before painting the inside of the enclosure. I also added a piece of wood to the inside where the bottom metal screen is to make a high substrate barrier. This gave her a 62x15x15 enclosure for a LOT less than other options out there! Also, I am able to get away with a 25w halogen lamp for basking!!!! That in itself is absolutely amazing! We went down from a 150w light in her previous enclosure. It's easy to install lighting inside, just be aware of your temperatures, wattage, etc. Always use cage guards to protect your critters, ceramic bulb bases and it's always a good idea to use a heat shield. For my basking light I used the Arcadia Reptile clamp lamp which comes with a bulb cage guard and different mounting options. I also have a LED UVB strip light on the basking side and a basic non UVB LED strip light on the far right side of the enclosure. Maintaining the appropriate temperature is vital to bodily functions such as digestion. It is important to provide the proper temperature conditions for the animal to grow and thrive.

Received this item and it is amazingly large and heavy. The bass alone is well made and I'm actually waiting for my stand to show up before I put it all together because just the bass is heavy to the point there's no way to assemble it and not have it in place. There's a lot of heavy foam surrounding the base and the glass walls come in a separate wrap box. Even with several sections of foam broken everything was intact as far as the base and the glass sheets wrapped separately. The price was on the Hefty side but after receiving the Box and taking everything out know that it seems to be worth it. The top vent has a locking system to keep it in place and is well constructed and not just screen which is exactly the way the side vents are made as well.
