Overall it’s a decent cage. It’s attractive, and I believe my Senegal Parrot (Zazoo) will enjoy it. We are moving to a new house in a different city and hour away. Zazoo turns 25 this year, and we wanted a more affordable cage incase he is near the end of his lifespan. We hope he’ll like his new home. The cage was well-packed and the only damage was to one of the sliding pans. It was dented and chipped, but I’m not concerned. The Woodlink seed tube feeder with a cage is a wonderful mixed seed feeder with a 1.5-inch caged grid around the exterior. The grid is powder-coated metal allowing for birds to slip through easily and protect them from predators. The feeder can hold 1.25 lbs. of birdseed. The tube itself is made from durable ABS plastic and features 4 different feeding stations. Many of your favorite songbirds can slip in but larger birds like doves, bluejays, and grackles will have to find another place to feed.

This is the perfect cage for the Painted Bunting birds to keep the big birds from getting inside their caged feeder. Rectangle cages will never work because the big birds learn to duck down and get inside. Because this caged feeder has square openings which the little birds can get in but the big birds cannot. I absolutely love these ! They make such a statement in my garden. The first thing I did was buy heavy duty stakes to mount them in the yard because we get a lot of wind here in Texas. The only thing I am concerned about is that the lid just sits on top, it isn’t secure. I’m thinking about getting some wire to secure the lid to the base.
