The recirculation kits performs multi-stage filtration and removes the odor from the gas and smoke that is sucked into the range hood, which removes harmful components and pollutants in the smoke, and effectively solves the problem of using range hoods in houses where the range hood cannot be exhausted. Do not try to clean the charcoal filter in the recirculation kit as it can not be cleaned, Please change the charcoal filter every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage)

It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. Meh. It’s ok I guess. Pretty flimsy in comparison to the Miele that I’m replacing. I had very specific measurements for the chimney size, exhaust venting and style that would work so I guess beggars can’t be choosers but it’s not really what I would consider to be high end or even mid quality. Just cheaply made in my opinion. It’s held on with 2 x 1.25” 6 wood screws and my wife can lift it up by herself. The Miele we took down was a beast and solid like a piece of granite. This thing I can bend with my bare hands. Also the packaging is pretty lame. When it arrived the styrofoam was broken and there was a big dent on the back I had to hammer out (won’t ever see it).
