It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great. The tub is beautiful and I can't believe the price for a stone resin tub. I was quoted more for an acrylic tub, which would have cheapened the overall look of my bathroom remodel. It was perfectly crated and undamaged. It took 4 men huffing and puffing to haul it to my primary bath, but it was just installed and all is working well. A few things to note: it is thinner than I imagined it to be based on the weight, so I hope it doesn't mean it is more fragile in the long term. the matte will definitely get scuffs when installing, but it comes right out with the sander..
