very easy to assemble. no tools needed cept for the allen wrench provided. the only draw back for me was it reclines way too much when you sit in it. there is a tension wheel ( so to speak) under the seat where you adjust how much it reclines. i tightened it as much as i could & i still think it reclines too much. but now i'm just careful not to rock too far back cause the 1st time i did , (before i tightened the wheel) i almost fell backwards. just be careful when you 1st sit in it! other than that, so far its a great chair. the speakers are good.. Putting it together took me around 45 minutes by myself. The so called "massaging" cushion just vibrates a little bit. It does nothing even resembling massaging.
