I researched many different floor brands (big box stores and online) and got tons of samples. My local flooring store gave me some really big samples to take home for a few days to view in various lighting. I was stuck between the Mannington nougat and praline. It works for holding single LP's. It is roomy enough inside the frame to hold an album with a sleeve and the magnet used to keep the lid on seems strong enough, but it isn't super strong so you need to make sure nothing is caught while closing the frame.
