This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. Made of polystyrene plastic these registers can be easily cleaned and will never rust. These items can be used in the ceiling by simply by putting screws through the "knockout" at each end. Be sure when sizing your registers you measure the hole they are going into. These come in 2 sizes 4 x 10 hole size (5.25 x 11.25 overall) or 4 x 12 hole size (5.25 x 13.25 overall).

Haven’t installed yet, but these were a great value on sale! I’ve seen some places charging 80 per light and the cheapest other option was still 40. Since I have to buy a large volume of these, a savings of 5-10 per light realllllly adds up!
