This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. Touch controls are reasonably sensitive and respond without unwanted changes. Unfortunately the outside of the ceramic insert arrived scratched, the packaging was sufficient so I can only assume it occurred before it was boxed up. Does not affect functionality but took away from the sense of newness for the appliance. I did read the instructions and found it completely unreasonable that the insert is listed as top rack dishwasher safe.
