This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. One of our largest and original collections, the Shauna is made up of a vast selection of heavy metal finishes and a large array of metal and glass shades that bring a touch of industrial into your home.

Gorgeous lights but the shades are VERY heavy and oversized for the fixture swing arm. So much so, the fixture arm doesn’t support it very well and you are very limited in terms of adjusting the position which also makes them challenging to clean. I had the lights professionally installed and hardwired and have concerns that the weight of the shades will ultimately cause the swing arm to fail causing the shades to crash into the cabinet and wall below which will be a disaster.
