This is a very solid deck box. The installation was kinda annoying and it could be because I'm more of a picture follower and read when something doesn't make sense but the metal bar needs to line up with the notch in the middle after you connect the latch. I had it all screwed down and realized it and had to double screw that. Another one you have to watch out for are the hinges. But it's nice knowing this thing should last and it's very large. It took 1.75 hr to assemble but would have been quicker with an extra pair of hands. It says it is strong enough for an adult to sit on, but no way would I let someone do that because it just doesn’t have the strength of buildmaterial to not sag with a 160 lb person resting on it.
