I was able to thread it and begin sewing fairly quickly, which was a big confidence boost. The stitch options are just enough to learn with without being complicated, and the machine runs smoothly for the most part. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that it can struggle a bit with thicker fabrics or multiple layers, and the instructions could be a little clearer for absolute beginners. I recieved my POOLIN today!!! I love it. Interface is extremely user friendly. The User Manual is very well written making it comprehensible. I was able personalize a quilt top immediately, and the stitching reslults were phenomenal. Also, I tested one of the preinstalled fonts, used the USB drive, and the wireless function via institch, which all functioned correctly. I have not tested the sewing function, but plan to. This machine arrived in perfect condition due to great packaging. It came with tools, sewing notions, and some embroidery supplies that can be stored in a very nice case or storage container.
