Was a bit unsure if this door holder would be suitable for my needs, but was pleasantly surprised. There is enough resistance from the magnet to hold the door open and have a little resistance when closing, but not enough to make it hard to close the door. It does make a clicking noise when the door swings open, but it doesn’t bother me. I did opt to use my own double sided tape instead of the screws on the floor piece which has worked well.
