The installation is about as straight forward as you can get...find the studs (even if they arent 16 or 24 OC, get it level and screw it in. Really couldn't be simpler. Be mindful of that there is a piece that is designed to go on the bottom of the wall...which i did not realize until it was too late. Thought all if them were the same. There were a couple draw backs that were more aesthetic than functional, but at this price point, i think it bears mentioning. The top magnetic strip to cover the last row of screw holes is extremely weak. Would have rather them just added 3 super powerful magnets and be done with it. If that strip gets at all dirty, forget about it, wont stick. There was also one piece of slat that was a little bowed. Luckily when the weight of a shovel is applied it hugs the wall nicely so no one is the wiser...still worth mentioning though just in case you are using it for small tool storage. Please amplify the alert or allow the user to set the volume on alerts. Some folks may be harder of hearing than others. • Storage drawer is large enough to store unused oven racks as well as (separately acquired) broiler pans. • Warming center (a great feature) on cooktop passed the melted butter test (i.e. keeping butter in melted but not over-heated state) • Instead of two large burners in the front, the cooktop would be much more useful if one of the burners in the front could allow the user to select either a larger burner circumference or a smaller one. Sometimes, a smaller burner is the only one needed. (Tea for two, for example.) • Oven door projects into the room a bit more than I expected, but is not obtrusive for my galley kitchen. • The oven shuts off when the timer reaches the set time. We have had our range for about 6 months. The cooking is great, everything you would expect, easy to adjust heat. Oven if wonderful as we bake lots of bread, fast preheat is a nice feature for dinner rush. The warming drawer has a spring loaded release that is incredibly annoying, it pops open all the time even if you brush against it with your foot. Additionally most of the time it takes more than one, commonly several, attempts to close and latch it. Sometimes if you open the oven door steam will activate the control panel.
