This ADA compliant slide latch is constructed of stamped stainless steel and comes in a satin finish. It is a surface-mounted latch that is designed for use on 1 in. thick swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with an "occupied" indicator and a matching stainless steel keeper. The exterior indicator has a dial-type internal mechanism that announces a locked door (or an occupied stall) with red color when the lock is engaged. We have improved upon the standard door guard design and added an innovative backup thumb turn security lock that blocks the release tool from disengaging the door guard latch. In cases of emergency, hotel security or emergency crews can pop the thumb turn off of the unit by applying approximately 100 pounds of force to the door. (Note that 100 pounds of force is much greater than a simple kick in, so the emergency release feature does not compromise your security.) These vintage style door levers are constructed of diecast and come in a beautiful finish. They feature a heavy weighted casting design and unique Silencer bushings for smooth operation. This set of levers is designed for indoor use only, and it includes one 2-3/4 inch steel spindle, and one 3-5/8 inch steel spindle with 3/8 inch-20 threads. These French style levers fit 1/4 inch square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets, and with the two (2) provided square spindles, it can adjust to accommodate doors of different thicknesses. The lever shanks include setscrews for fastening to the square spindles. All other components of matching vintage design must be purchased separately to include the internal mortise lock body, the door rosettes, the trim and strike plates, or the latch and fasteners. Note: These levers cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large, newer style doorknob holes without first prepping them to receive this older-style hardware. This black, flush-mount, outside handle fits onto International Window Series 950 handles such as the Prime-Line part C 1055 or C 1073. It can be keyed with the Prime-Line part E 2000 lock cylinder. For the white handle use Prime-Line part C 1207.
