Koert's new valve design has no cap. Other bags rely upon a cap to be tightly sealed to keep air out but air can still seep through the cap causing the bag to deflate over time. Koert's new technology in our no-cap valve created an airtight harrier keeping items condensed for the long haul. I love these vacuums bag, very easy to use The seal tab is large easy to grab and seal with the first pass even with my arthritis thumb. I didn't need help sealing them closed. Not having to put a cap on and off make these my favorite vacuum bags, I just press the vacuum hose on the valve and that was it. My thumbs are happy. The only downside It didn't work with my vacuum that didn't have a round hose, I had to use my vacuum with the round hose. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner.
