I almost didn’t buy this rug because some reviews mentioned the gray accents were much more visible than the website photos. While the gray flecks are definitely present, I found them to be subtle and they read more as texture than stripes in my home. The ivory color brightened my living room and works beautifully with my neutral leather sectional, black media console, and marble coffee table. The rug feels soft underfoot and has a clean, modern look without being boring. If you’re looking for a pure ivory rug, this may not be for you. This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus. The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed!
