The feet also “just” fit front to back. Quality piece here. Felt solid building it and I have no fear for my tv on it. We enjoy its mid century style as we are changing motifs in our den. We purchased the red variant in hopes it would match our cherry paneling. It’s slightly browner than we hoped, but still looks right at home. Awful purchase. Do not recommend. Pictures posted of console and console in-person do not match. The 3 wooden pieces on each of the cabinet doors are not centered or the length of the door as seen in the photos provided. The instructions are in German with no English alternative or descriptive directional photos. Aside lack of instructions, the material is extremely hard to put together and nearly impossible to complete setup since the pieces barely fit the slots it pairs with.
