We ordered this tv stand in the brown color which has a slight taupe modern hue in the brown. It was the perfect size for a kitchen alcove that we had have and we desperately needed kitchen storage. We have looked everywhere for a low piece that wouldn’t block the windows and has deep storage to declutter our small kitchen space. The assembly took me about two hours then my husband jumped in the next day to adjust the doors. Note that if you decide not to use the shelves rest them on the floor so the doors don’t invert when they close. They have adjustable soft close hinges and each piece has one removable, adjustable shelf. The box is about 7ft long and weighs 97 pounds so keep that in mind. It would be very helpful to have a person with you to assemble this because the boards are long and heavy and you had to hold them in place while putting screws in.the back panel comes with all of the screws but only 6 are predrilled. You don’t absolutely have to use the rest if you don’t want to. It’s pretty sturdy and definitely holds a lot of stuff so if you need low profile storage this may be for you.. Andrea. I struggled trying to find the perfect tv stand that would fit the wall in our home. If I found one that would be long enough, it was not tall enough, or visa versa. I bought this as a TV stand for our new living room last year. We have nice big windows and once we assembled it, we realized we didn’t want to block the whole window with a TV. So we decided to mount the TV on the wall and we use this to display these handmaid barns my father made our daughter many years ago. We’ve never had space to display them so they get the honor on this nice piece of furniture. The sliding barn doors hide shelves for storage or display.
