This turned out to be a great purchase and exactly what I needed. It was quick and easy to assemble, and the mattress is truly 5 inches with good-quality memory foam-my Pops says it’s very comfortable and said he doesn't need a mattress topper. It’s easy to open at night and store in the morning, rolls smoothly without scratching my floors, feels sturdy with the wheels locked, and fits perfectly in my small living room closet. I’m very pleased with the quality. For extra peace of mind, I did purchase a thin rubber floor runner to roll it on when moving it to and from the closet, and I added quarter-size felt pads under the legs for additional floor protection. Worked well for our studio vacation rental, where people occasionally don't read the description and don't realize it only offers one queen bed until they walk in! I bought two of these for a pop-up trundle bed for guest use since it claimed to join into a king size bed. That is a different story. These mattress came vacuum-sealed and expanded to almost full size by the time I got the plastic off. The topper is nice material and can be zipped off for easy cleaning. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. I do not believe you will find a better mattress in this price range and I would even venture that these out-match ones that are much more expensive. Very please with this purchase.. Chris. MI. While I don’t think this would be a great mattress for daily use, this was a good mattress for the trundle portion of my kid’s bed. It is slim (in a month, it only expanded to about 5.5”), and it’s quite firm as it obviously doesn’t have room for all the support/comfort layers that a regular width mattress can have. But it fits very well in a trundle bed (even with bedding), is more comfortable than I expected it to be, and is more than fine for occasional use.
