It will darken the surface to slightly enhance any dull and faded coloring. The Armor WL550 is made from high-quality, non-recycled, US-manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

This would work well where you are trying to match rougher textured applications such as brick or stone. Unsanded caulk has a smoother finish. Common places to use this siliconized acrylic latex unsanded caulk is against backsplashes in the kitchen, along bathtub surrounds, windows and more. The unsanded tends to be easier to clean because of its smooth surface.

I have been renovating a small room in the house to make it a radio shack, and was using paneling. so I purchased these to hide the gaps in between the panels, but because the paneling was only a few thousands in width different than the gap these are made, I couldnt get the panels to lock in all the way because the plastic was not moving enough to allow it in between the channels. I could get a strip on one panel, but that made the other side not want to open up enough to join 2 panels. so I will have to just cover the joints with some stick on trim. the plastic used is not flexible enough. needs softer plastic you can work with..
