This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. Would I buy again? Yes. These are great for what we needed. The three different light settings have a slightly different brightness but I just put them on the lowest and it's sufficient for our needs. I've purchased a total of 20 of these and of the 20, I did get 2 that were bad. After submitting a support request, I had 2 new lights within 5 days! Very happy with the way this was handled.. Paul.
