I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos.
