The only draw back is the gravity connection between pieces. It would work better if the stake and lighting parts had firmer attachment mechanism. The bottom shaft has to be well anchored; no way for the top to stabilize unless situated carefully above the stake (I wanted to weave through the chicken wire surrounding some plants, unsuccessfully).. The lights were not packaged well for delivery which resulted in broken pieces (see picture) of the stakes for posting. That said, I had some spare pieces in my garage that I was able to substitute. The outdoor solar string min mushroom lights look best in the dark when they are clearly visible. During the day they almost unnoticeable - pretty plain white looking. The pieces are not very sturdy. We have some blown glass mushroom lights that are beautiful and I was hoping that these would compliment them, but I'm not sure how long these will last given what I've seen so far.. Alvera.
