This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. This is an absolutely massive refrigeratorfreezer combo! Delivery took quite a while, but that’s expected with how big it is. It took a full delivery truck and 2 guys to unload it, they very nicely and carefully got the box inside our garage for us. Unboxing took a while, the wheels were sitting on a wooden platform and was impossible to get out from underneath without hammering the wood to pieces. The wheels on this unit are so convenient to move it around because it is HEAVY. It has 2 refrigerated areas and one freezer, it performs wonderfully but is quite noisy when it’s running. It’s designed to be wheeled into a wall which would dampen the sound. Other than that, it runs great, our food stays fresh and cold and is exactly what we were expecting.. Abbey. Springfield, OH.
