This is a pretty cool chair. It’s power and assembly is easy you just push the back into the base. It swivels nicely and has a Little Rock to it. It’s got Bluetooth if haven’t used the speakers yet. The control buttons are easy to reach. Each arm rest can tilt up and down which is nice options for sitting. When they are tilted up, there’s hidden storage compartments under each arm. The seat and back is a nice cushion it’s firm enough but gives you the comfort soft seating to relax in. This is almost like teddy bear material but not as soft im not a fan of the color at all it makes it look drab. Another thing I dislike is the power cord is very short which is frustrating to reach a plug, besides the color and the power cord, it’s pretty decent. It’s very wide seating. However. If im in the sitting position and raise just the leg rest up, it’s not very long. I’m 5’4 and it stops at my ankles. So super tall people who want that leg support won’t get it. This toilet has heated seat, heated water for the bidet and heated dryer. It is beautiful, and easy to clean. The night light is wonderful at night. This chair sold by Wayfair received 4 out of 5 stars because of a few minor things. First, this chair is sold by other online retailers and clearly indicates that it has voice recognition and control.. The problem is that there is no setting on the remote to turn this feature off, so what will occur like other home A.I. devices it will hear what it believes to be the magic phrase and activate the chair when you were merely watching television. The reviews from the other site indicate that you can unplug the chair to resolve this issue while not in use. However, the power switch is a the back and very bottom of the chair which means that would be a royal pain. I have come up with my own solution that I am sharing because the features that come with the chair and price point are good value. There appear to be two microphones on the remote control one on the front and other on the back.. I used a piece of the soft material that normally comes with electronics to protect the screen and blue painter’s tape that doesn’t have a strong adhesive residue and cut a small circular piece for each microphone and taped over them with a small piece of the blue painter’s tape, thus muting the microphones’ ability to pick up random trigger words from the television and without damaging the remote control. The other solution is to get a smart plug or power strip that is compatible with Alexia or Apple HomeKit and plug your chair into the smart plug or power strip which would allow you to turn the chair on or off without having to move it to access the rear power button. I liked the fact that the chair came well packaged and did not need any major assembly just have to connect the white air hoses from chair to seat cushion for air system to operate correctly. Lastly, this chair will not replace your typical recliner as it relates to comfort and watching TV unless, as I did, you add a tall removable back/lumbar padded seat cushion and pillow because it is designed to be therapeutic and without the padding you will feel the massaging nodules along your back and bottom and soles of your feet if you are not actively receiving a massage. I hope this review was helpful so that anyone who has purchased or looking to purchase can be informed and have options.. BTW, Wayfair does have fast and timely shipping and delivery.. Vincent. Wanted a recliner to recover in after knee replacement surgery. But didn’t have a lot of space. This smaller recliner was a great option. It is extremely comfortable. The delivery left something to be desired. They kind of tossed it in the direction of the front door. The box is quite heavy so they were probably struggling and ultimately gave up. But once inside, it was relatively easy to unpack and put together. But two people were necessary. The bolsters didn’t have a right or left indicated so that was a little tricky, but otherwise the instructions were easy to follow. I don’t think anyone over 5’10”would enjoy this recliner. It’s on the smaller side and your feet would definitely hang over the edge. I thought the back and foot rest could move separately but they move in tandem. For example, you can’t be upright and have the foot rest up. Or you can’t be reclining back and have the foot rest down. The foot rest does not fully rise to seat-level but it’s still very comfortable. One thing I cannot figure out is how to make it stop rocking andor swiveling. This posed a problem during recovery when trying to rise from the chair because it would rock back or swivel. I feel like there should be a feature to lock the chair so it does not move. But I have yet to find it. That is the reason for four stars instead of five.. Ac. MA. Tue May 05 2026
