I prefer natural light but found that 4000K provided too warm a hue as my white silk lampshades looked very yellowed and almost old adjacent to my warm neutral grey walls. The bulbs themselves are great - so far, at least, as I have only had them for a couple of weeks. However, they are advertised as being compatible with Siri - which they are not.
