The first chair took me forever to assemble, but I used it as a learning experience. I learned that I could have saved myself a ton of time if I had used the provided allen key with the red top (looks like a wine bottle opener), instead of the conventional one that was also provided. I also learned that I needed help from someone else for a few stages in the process because it saves a lot of time. Things went a lot smoother and faster when I put together the second chair. This new Rocking Chair is made from solid acacia hardwood. Very sturdy and durable and designed with an all-weather and water-resistant protective outdoor finish. Perfect for porches, gardens, poolside, and sunroom areas.

We bought two matching rockers. Both are Heavy solid acacia wood. The finish on both was poorly applied with some uneven stain and glue smudges. They both required some sanding to make them look right. On each chair one bolt hole didn’t line up and required some drilling. At least one wood screw was broken out on each chair and had to be repaired. Wayfair customer service was excellent and would have accepted returning them but we wanted to repair them.
