This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. This was a monster to put together. If you have ever built a skywalker these are like twice as difficult to build. A lot of the screws didn’t line up. The picture directions were tricky. We assembled some pieces backwards so we had to disassemble and reassemble (it didn’t match the pictures). The screws were tricky to get in, they are blunt ended so you have to line them up to the threading well or they don’t go in. Trying to get the round gram on to the legs after building was challenging and we scraped quite a bit of the finish trying to get everything in place. With skywalker you build the legs then add the round frame piece by piece, with skytric you do it backwards you build the top then add the legs. It didn’t go smoothly. The screws we had to loosen and retighten after getting pieces in and shifted. The springs went on like any other trampoline we have ever had and the tool is helpful getting the first few on. We going 1 on each side the add another print and work our way around and found that to be the easiest method. The safety pad by far beats anything on the market we’ve come across it attaches and covers those springs well! It’s not loose, it doesn’t flop around, it’s a great pad. The safety net attaches rather weird and I prefer the ease of skywalker where it slides through the V hooks vs having to use clips and tie it down. The safety poles went up easy enough and the PVC covers over the poles tie everything together so it all matches. Some of the foam arrived damaged but the PVC covers hide the damage and it doesn’t effect the usability of the trampoline. The top pole that wraps around the safety net again far outranks any we’ve seen on the market, it holds the net open and is far sturdier than comparable brands. The net doesn’t appear like it will sag because of the ring at the top. This was the most difficult we’ve built to date but seems to be far more durable and better built than others. My only complaint is the safety net, it doesn’t attach to the pad easily and I ran out of cording to attach it to the pad. This brand has a higher weight rating than most on the market which made me feel better. It also has a way better opening than others. Again it was a beast to assemble and my husband and I have built like 5, we buy new ones when we move. This one seems durable enough we could move it with us.
