This coffee grinder is great. It works really great to grind coffee for espresso, French press, or just regular brewed coffee. The grind is consistent and it has settings for different preferences. I love that I can choose the number of cups and grind type. I end up with less waste (no stale coffee for me!!). Initially I read some people complain about the noise but it really isnt bad. It also works pretty quickly so Im not bothered by the sound. I also saw where people complained that the grinds go everywhere when its grinding, you just need to make sure that the cup is pushed in properly (as far as it will fit). I only had one issue with grinds making a mess. The only thing that I think could use some work (design wise) is the transfer from the container to your coffee brewing receptacle. Maybe a pour spout or funnel type piece In any case, the transfer isnt a huge deal and you could easily use a separate funnelor even a scoop to transfer the coffee without making a mess.
