Crafted from stainless steel, these rods offer excellent wind and corrosion resistance, making them a perfect, durable choice for various garden sunshades.

Nice quality material but design not well thought out. Pole sections do not bolt together. They fit onto the top of each one below. There is definite concern that a wind load on the sail could pull the pole apart with potentially catastrophic results (if the sail is blown around with a heavy top section of pole attached). Can’t understand why the sections would not bolt together, especially since the bottom screw tipped section does not screw into the ground deep enough to effectively anchor the pole for a sail. If they bolted together, you could turn the 2nd bolted section to drive the 1st section deeper into the ground. Didn’t anyone think about that?? Seems obvious.. Elizabeth. Bay Head, NJ. This was an experience. First, I couldn’t clear the utility lines at my house but my friend’s deck was perfect. We started out confident, but it didn’t last. The wrenching apparatus was our downfall. In the end we decided to forgo the winch process and hung it only using the locking mechanisms. The sail is great. It feels strong yet pliable and it’s the perfect shade of summer red. With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!.
