Just got this, so can't speak to anything but as new. It's beautifully colored, as pictured. It's soft and thick (not a flimsy thin rug). Make sure you vacuum immediately - lots of wool. Edges lay flat, and if not, just roll them under for 10 minutes then they'll lay flat. I realize this rug will need to be vacuumed often for a while, as wool sheds A LOT at first. Bottom line is, I wanted an affordable wool or cotton rug, and I REALLY LOVE this rug! Edit - it's a year later, and this rug was done shedding after 5-10 vacuumings. It looks awesome.
