Pretty thin so I would suggest using double sided tile adhesive as the mortar will most likely bleed through then you wouldn’t be able to grout In those areas + the double sided adhesive is mess free! Good quality. When you install, remember to remove the plastic coatings on the white seashell tiles as it will be much more difficult to clean after grouting. Our contractor used 3/8” durock to build out the wall to be flush with the other time we used, otherwise the mud was just too thick... no need to grout the mosaic, only in between tiles (1/16”)..
