I love this little table and chairs! It was really easy to put together and it’s very sturdy. Only 2 issues during install: #1 they sent 7 wooden plugs fur the chairs instead of 8 and apparently you need to buy wood glue to put them in, which is no biggie, I can pick up an extra at the hardware store. #2 there were no guide marks on the bottom of the table to show where to attach the brackets. Around year five we added some extra screws to the table base, but this was probably only needed due to disassembling and reassembling the table multiple times. The issue is the table arrived damaged, 2 chairs were damaged and one chair back had 2 legs not even the same height so it wobbles. When I contacted customer to send replacement parts I was told the would send a whole new table and chairs if I packaged up the damaged one and sent it back. I explained that the box has been recycled and there is no box big enough to pack it back up. Secondly, the whole weighed about 150lbs. There was no way I would be able to lift that to take it somewhere to be shipped back. So, it makes sense to me that I now am able to use 2 out of 4 chairs and the table has some damage a 50% refund should have been offered...I mean I can only use 50% of the set. Nope they only offered 30% refund. I find it hard to believe this company can't afford the 20% difference or to just send replacement parts which would have been the best customer service step to take.. Oshannah. Oregon City, OR. This dining set is a gentle softness.

We had a very difficult time getting the 2 table top halves to separate to reveal the leaf. It turns out, the manufacturer physically **drilled screws** into the bottom of the table closed and there was nothing in the instructions telling us this detail. These "remove" block pieces blend in with the rest of the wood on the bottom of the table. They did stamp "remove," on them but again, these blocks blend into the table and unless you know to look for them, they can easily be missed. The bottom also has some interior damage I'm assuming from transit but it's hidden so I guess not a big deal aesthetic wise, but for integrity, time will tell.
