I had my 16 yr old son assemble this table without any assistance. This was his first project. He got it assembled! Parts were loose. I had to explain what a self locking nut was and that he needed either a socket or wrench to tighten the screw to the nut. After a brief demonstration, he nailed it. It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. We have been looking for a pato set. This is perfect for the pool area was it is done. It was very wasy to put together and it can be stored away too. Nice chairs! They are pretty simple to put together vs some of the other wayfair items. The first piece is a little tricky to line up but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. They feel sturdy and well made. Probably will need a cushion though. We also may try a weatherproofing stain since I am a little concerned with how they will hold up but they look great for now!.
