He's not super familiar with assembly in general and he couldn't accomplish it by himself so we helped him when we visited him again several months later. The biggest disappoint for me is that there is no tilt at all to these chairs. I was hoping that there'd be a little bit of wiggle room to tilt on the swivel action but there isn't.
