I love this convertible sofa! It’s the perfect size for our small guest room/den. The fabric is soft. The “mattress” is firm yet comfortable. It’s super easy to pull out into a bed. The sofa has to be pulled out from the wall a few inches to flatten the back, very easy to do. No one has slept on it yet, but we did lie down on it. We did purchase the 5 year warranty. Another review said the fabric was rough, but we found it to be very soft! We also liked that it has a higher back than some similar sofas. However because it is long and the frame doesn’t come apart, it didn’t fit in our basement that has a 32” door and a tight corner. This piece is perfect for my guest room. The seating is very comfortable and the dimensions don't take up all the space. I love the chaise for morning coffee and reading the newspaper and the storage is easy to access and has a huge amount of space. The mattress slides out very easily, creating a spare bed in seconds.
