It’s softer than I thought it’d be! I prefer an extremely soft mattress but I needed a shorter (10”) mattress for the bed frame I wanted and ultra plush is harder to find so I settled on this one and I’m quite pleased. We really like this waterproof mattress pad. We have a dog who sometimes has small accidents during the night. The pad fits our deep mattress easily and the fabric prevents any moisture from seeping through. One tip, we bought this as a replacement for the exact pad. Do not wash in a washer with an agitator.
