The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. The burners reach temperature fast, and the oven preheats much quicker than my previous model. It also has a clean, modern appearance that looks great in my kitchen. My main complaint is the control panel. The buttons feel somewhat inexpensive, and the display is very basic compared to other ranges I've used. Many functions are abbreviated in ways that aren't very intuitive. For example, setting the clock shows "CLK" and cook time appears as "C-TI." While these abbreviations make sense once you learn them, they create a learning curve and make the controls feel less user-friendly than they could be. Overall, this range performs well and is a solid value. The fast heating and modern styling are definite strengths. The recirculation kits performs multi-stage filtration and removes the odor from the gas and smoke that is sucked into the range hood, which removes harmful components and pollutants in the smoke, and effectively solves the problem of using range hoods in houses where the range hood cannot be exhausted. Do not try to clean the charcoal filter in the recirculation kit as it can not be cleaned, Please change the charcoal filter every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage)
