[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ClosetMaid Impression Wood closet system was easy to assemble with minimal tools and it looks fantastic!! The instructions made sense and were easy to follow. There were 2 of us putting everything together. Our closet is a little smaller and because we have sliding closet doors, we needed to install the 2 shelves side by side with the rods on the outside. It ended up working out easily though to adapt this closet system to what made sense for our space. I really like that it comes with trim to make it look more built-in and clean. The locking mechanism for the rods is cool, they feel very strong and supported. One thing to note, the top shelves are not the same depth as the cabinets which ends up looking fine but something to know. They are about 2 inches smaller and sit a little back from the shelving unit. I also found it strange that the rods aren’t underneath the shelves, instead they are right under the trim. Somethings I wish could be improved about this closet system: I wish the brackets for the shelves were white, I wish there were white stickers to put over screw tops, and I wish there was a way to hide the wall brackets that attach the shelving units to the wall. Assembly is definitely a two-person job; I had to call my dad for help since some of the pieces were too heavy for me to lift and install on my own. The shelving unit is incredibly versatile and can be configured in a variety of ways to suit your space, making it easy to create a custom closet setup. I highly recommend it. This adjustable closet kit is amazing. It fits 6-9 foot wide. Has 3 drawers, a shoe organizer, and 11 shelbes for storage. Closet rods are also adjustable from 30 to 48 inches and are very well designed. You have the ability to fully customize your closet to create your own special unique design.
