The reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that the unit arrived damaged. Maybe I shouldn't blame Wayfair, because it was shipped to Hawaii using multiple carriers. So it traveled on an assortment of vehicles, handled many times, and I believe it originated on the East Coast. Wayfair provided excellent communication to keep us updated on the shipment's movement and the date of delivery during its long journey. Wayfair was also quick to provide a resolution for the damage, with 4 possibilities. We chose to have the repair made locally, and we were compensated very fairly for that expense. As seen in the photos, the left door strut repair is flawless. The unit itself is beautifully designed, well built with all solid wood, and shows the finish of craftsmanship. The only assembly was to install the four legs. We're very satisfied with Wayfair for their customer service, resolution of the problem, and this unit is a lovely addition to our home.. Michael. This is a great deal for the price. Very sturdy. It's just what I needed to brighten up my smaller living room that's open to the kitchen and dining room. I've been redoing everything in the house because it was a dirty beige and kind of utilitarian empty canvas when I bought it. I've been painting and bringing in touches of natural elements. The wood on the doors is perfect for that. I love that it arrived assembled and is solid wood. It had a little bit of a paint or sealant smell at first but you could only smell it if you got close and that quickly faded away after a couple days. Others have talked about the sticker on top. They may have changed it because I was able to just gently peel it off and only a tiny bit of residue remained and I worked that off with just my fingernail in a few seconds.
