heats up using the minimum water level, when heating water for a cup of hot tea. I was using a Pyrex glass measuring cup to heat one cup of water in the mornings in my microwave and it would take almost 5 minutes to begin boiling. I like my hot water fairy hot so really excited that now it takes a minute to two minutes at the most. This was a great purchase and priced very reasonable. When I opened the box I was impressed with this tile. The green color is gorgeous and the tile is iridescent. The light shines off the tiles beautifully, reminds me of the ocean and Carribean. In the dark spots the color looks darker but still nice. The different greens blend in so nicely.
