Small size silver certificates were issued from 1928 to 1964, in denominations of 1, 5, and 10. Silver Certificates also known as Blue Seals and Blue Seal Notes are still legal tender but since 1968 they have been redeemable only in Federal Reserve Notes and may no longer be exchanged for silver. The 10 dollar silver certificate is housed in a protective 5 x 8 inch vinyl portfolio. The 10 dollar bill features Alexander Hamilton on the front and the US Treasury on the back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Issued during World War II as an emergency issue after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Hawaii Brown Seal Note was a response to a possible Japanese invasion. The $1.00 United States issued currency has the word Hawaii stamped on both the right and left sides of the face of the bill. A large outline of the word Hawaii dominates the reverse of the bill. The silver $1.00 certificate is also recognizable by the brown treasury stamp and serial numbers that adorn the bill. The Hawaii Brown Seal Note is mounted in an acrylic frame and may be viewed from both the front and back sides. A certificate of authenticity is stamped on the matting.

Over 150 years old, the flying eagle cent was struck for circulation in 1857 and 1858. The one cent piece was minted of a copper-nickel composition and designed by James Barton Longacre. The obverse displays a flying eagle and the reverse shows a wreath of corn, wheat, cotton and tobacco leaves. The flying eagle was too difficult to strike because of the high relief and was replaced in 1859 by the Indian head penny. Certificate of authenticity is included.

The legend of the silver mercury dime minted from 1916 to 1945 begins at a rental unit in new york city in 1913. Adolf Weinman a sculptor captured the beauty of his tenant, Elsie stevens while she sat for a portrait bust. Weinman was then selected by us mint to design the dime in 1916. It is said he used the bust of stevens as his inspiration when designing liberty for the obverse of the new dime. One look at the portrait of stevens and one can see the stunning similarities in the profiles. Weinman added the winged cap to enhance the strength of lady liberty in thought. The reverse shows fasces and olive branch to represent war, justice and peace. The mercury dime is composed of .900 fine silver and is 17.91mm in diameter. The last three years of the silver mercury dime 1943, 1944 and 1945 are encased in a sealed protective acrylic. A certificate of authenticity is included.

All U.S. currency printed prior to 1928 were known as "Horse blankets" or "Saddle blankets" due to their large size. Although similar in design to the dollar bills of today, the large size notes were almost one third larger than the smaller bills printed after 1928. The last of these large size notes was the prized One Dollar Blue Seal Silver Certificate of 1923, which features the portrait of George Washington painted by one of the nation's most famous artists, Gilbert Stuart. Introduced by an Act of Congress in 1878, Silver Certificates were backed by Silver held in the U.S. Treasury and could actually be redeemed for exactly $1 of Silver Bullion until June 24, 1968. The obligation is stated on the obverse of the Silver Certificate: "One Silver Dollar payable to the bearer on demand." The Large Silver Certificate is displayed on an acrylic frame and can be viewed on both sides. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.

In 1982 the Lincoln Penny composition changed to copper plated zinc. The U.S. mint decided to change the composition of the penny due to the rise in cost of copper. The first copper plated pennies in 1982 were minted at West Point Mint without a mint mark. The complete new composition series beginning with 1982 is displayed in a collector style portfolio. This Buffalo Nickel is considered one of the most beautiful and charming American coins of all time. It features an Indian Head on the front and a Buffalo on the back. The set contains 17 coins, one from each minting year from 1919-1938. (No coins were struck in 1922, 1932 or 1933). Coins are displayed in a rich foil-embossed portfolio which also includes a description of the Buffalo Nickel’s unique history. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
