The most economical solution i found to lattice that doesn’t look cheap. But they are more flexible and heavy than I expected, so it’s going to take a lot of reinforcement to line them up above a long property fence without them flopping around in the wind. .. not the product’s fault, but wish they were interconnecting or something. Duraspace bamboo room divider freestanding double-hinged folding screen.

I had a little hiccup installing the connector rods. Instructions said to install all 12 in the top section, however, I was having alignment issues. So I moved six to the bottom section and that did the trick. I was able to straighten it out using some fishing wire from the ceiling, and now it acts like a divider wall. I love it!. Sunshine. The screen came exactly when it was supposed to, about 2 1/2 months after ordering Oct 30. I was a little concerned when it hadn't 'shipped' by mid-December, but customer service explained that shipping isn't updated online until it reaches their warehouse in the US. I'm glad I waited! Packaging was excellent, crated, screwed shut, with dense foam on all sides (not Styrofoam). The screen itself appears to be very good quality, a double sided print with a metal frame. The print is a little less delicate than expected but the colors look exactly as pictured. Good weight, sturdy. I think it is heavy enough that the large rampaging adult kittens won't knock it down. I got the largest one. The sharp metal corners will scratch flooring so I'd recommend adding stick-on felt pads to the bottom before raising it from the crate and positioning in your home. It was fully assembled and easy to maneuver with two people. It fit exactly where expected in the house(we measured before ordering). I bought these to convert to summer window screens on my 1958 house in Albuquerque, NM. In the summer, the morning sun hits my back windows directly and puts a lot of heat into the house (and I don't want to replace the original steel window frames). I cut the feet off of the screens and made brackets from 1.5" aluminum angle to attach to the window trim, plus legs to support the weight. The screens are very heavy, and the plastic geometric sections are fairly thick, which is nice. The frame is sturdy and the black finish is durable. Although the description says that these can't be painted, Rustoleum 2X seemed to adhere after scuffing the surface with a Scotchbrite pad and acetone. (We'll have to see how it holds up over the summer.) My only issue with these is that the panels bow in the sun. These are made in Canada, so maybe they're designed for Canadian sun and not the high desert. :) It could be exacerbated by the fact that I have the frame horizontal, but the panels were bowing when I had them individually upright to spray paint. I would have tried the steel ones but was less confident that I'd be able to get the rust off for a clean painting surface. It would be great if these were offered in a primed steel option for painting. Overall I'd say these are pretty nice, but would work better in a shaded area, or go with the metal version.. James. These are really nice privacy screens. They are a nice design and provide a nice amount of screening. The paint is plenty thick and has a nice powder coat finish to it, which helps in the protection of the paint.
