This looked like it was going to be fairly easy to put together and the video attached had a man that put it together in 11 minutes but not me. What is done is very pretty and I am so pleased with it once I get it fixed. It is a beautiful light and could be used in any room from the dining room, bedroom, closet even the bathroom would be fancy and who says the bath can’t be pretty, too. Get it because it is nice and you will love it. The instructions are pretty much a parts list and the written is E to C, etc. I got about 3/4 of the way with it for a few hours for two days and saw one of the tabs on the parts to hang it was bent and twisted a bit so I tried to bend it back which is not easy. I tried to install a screw to attach it and I guess the threads were messed up on the bent tab because it never would start so I stopped to order replacement parts.I will finish the assembly after I receive the replacement parts. It is quite heavy and ackward to put all of the crystals on and will not sit up any kinda way without falling o er and crystals coming back off. First, you can't really beat Wayfair price with free shipping. The packaging was robust enough to prevent damage to this large and heavy item. The nickel finish is a worthwhile upgrade for a contemporary look. I chose the Lake Mist glass (after viewing choices on Sterling website) which offers a compromise between clear glass and 100 frosted. I like the combination of transparency at top with gradual opacity from a pattern of frosted dots that merge lower on the doors . Doors have a CleanCoat surface on the bath side that have kept them pretty spot free, even with my hard water, although I use a squeegee regularly as well. One of the doors did come with a horizontal line mark on the lower frosted surface, which I assume was from the cardboard packaging rubbing against it. Haven't been able to remove but not very noticeable. Installation took a few hours - measured twice then cut conservatively and used metal file to ensure close fit. Look for YouTube videos for tips on drilling into ceramic tile if your tub surround has it - saved me big headache. To make sure everything fits perfectly, there are Unica shower bars in different lengths, with shower hose and brackets, to suit all conventional hand showers.
