I’m converting from an upright to a canister vacuum, so I’ve had to change my technique in how I vacuum the house. Instead of starting at one end of the room and then stepping backward to make the next path as I’ve always done with an upright, that way just doesn’t work for a few reasons, but to keep this brief, instead I now pick a section of the room to start (my rooms are small to average in size at only 1100 sq feet total), so it’s usually towards the center of the room where I position the canister vacuum and begin a starburst pattern. I keep the canister vacuum relatively in the same spot, until I am ready to begin in another section. This way there is less moving of the canister vacuum. Now the hose and handle are quite long when combined on the Kenmore canister vacuum, not to mention sturdy, so I only reposition 2 or 3 times in my smaller-size rooms, and I’m done in that room. Pros are, it gets under furniture much easier than an upright, hands down, and it is quieter. A bonus of this machine is you can control the suction, and therefore that is done with changing the speed of the motor, so if you can do light cleaning at a lower suction and not feel like your waking the entire house., The noise level drops dramatically. For me, this alone seals the deal on this cleaning machine. I also liked that all the tools are stored on the body of the vacuum and covered, so they’re not getting knocked off, and I’m not having to constantly run to the closet to dig through a bag of parts looking for the right attachment. All full size vacuums should follow Kenmore ways of thinking and designing vacuum cleaners in my opinion. Even though I found my work around in my style of vacuuming, it is a bit more difficult to carry around, a bit bulky, but I am not at all regretting my purchase of a canister vac, and I highly recommend the option pop and go bagged canister vacuum by Kenmore. I think it does just as good, if not better, of a job than vacuums two or three times higher in price. It’s built sturdy, which makes it a little heavier, but I expect it to last for many, many years. I suggest you give this vacuum a test yourself and see if you agree. Oh I almost forgot, one last thing I think you should know, it seems to pick up dog hair on hard surfaces better than upright models that I’ve vacuumed with in the past.. Thomas. Palm Springs, CA. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using. Other than that, I love it and it works so well especially cleaning up after 2 large dogs who shed a lot. (A Red Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog). The vacuum was $999 on another site so I tried Wayfair. The description was confusing as to what attachments came with it and for that reason I give it 4 stars. The vacuum is perfect. I did end up buying a turbo power head from another site (having to buy a power head separately is pretty standard with these high end vacuums).
