One note for potential buyers: the front, top and sides of the "black" clock are actually wood-grained charcoal grey plastic. Only the back is black. I will keep it because the clock's size, design and functionality were my priorities. It's a nice clock, compact, taking up little space on my table. I wanted an atomic clock that would set itself, which this one does. But, the display on this clock is not visible from across the room. You have to push the button to light it up to see it from any distance, and that doesn't work unless you are close enough to reach it and push the button.
