The Samsung refrigerator fits in the same 36” space as our old 18 cf fridge. In our location we are against a side wall and a door casing so we selected the swing free clear model. The in door ice and water works great as does the ice storage tray for cubed ice in the bottom freezer section. The refrigerator is very quiet and the freezer and refrigerator sections maintain good temperatures. A frozen pizza can be placed flat in the freezer section unlike the side by side model that has no width to lay a pizza flat. The biggest issue is the freezer. It keeps acting up and doesn’t always hold a consistent temperature. I’ve had items that should be fully frozen end up partially thawed, which is frustrating—especially for something this expensive. Another downside is the exterior quality. While the design is beautiful, it dents way too easily. Even small bumps leave noticeable marks, which takes away from the premium look pretty quickly. There are definitely things to like—the storage space is great, and the layout is very convenient—but for the price, I expected much better reliability and durability. This is a great product. I like the appearance. noise level and capacity. It has worked great from the moment I plugged it in. Most of all I appreciate the installation service. The workers were very professional. They moved the unit to a second story, two flights of stairs with a 180 degree corner turn. They unpacked the unit, put it in place, and the rest is history.
