Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great. Nice little grill once it’s put together. Lots of assembly required, but it doesn’t take more than 45 minutes. Not sure how long it will last. I took a chance, trusting the quality of the other products from Kamado Joe and honestly had to laugh when this arrived. The images don’t do it justice and when you retrieve it from it’s careful packaging, use two hands. The basket is fabricated out of ~1/4” stainless rod and will be remaining long after we die.
