I ordered two of these stools. The box was quite large, but the packaging was amazing! You will want to curse at the company as you unwrap styrofoam and plastic, however, they did an amazing job of protecting both the seats and the bases. Really impressed! Putting these together was a bit harder than it should have been - mostly because the screws are short and it is very difficult to catch the thread. I thought about getting longer screws but persevered and they do work. Might help to screw them in without the washer first - to figure out placement - then try. Once you get one in on each side it is easier - but t can take some time. Other than that it was very easy!! These look gorgeous and they truly are just what I was looking for. These are great and very comfortable! If I had one criticism it would be to ignore the instructions when it says to tighten the legs to the foot rail to 100%. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair.
