The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. Purchased this in black. Arrived with great packaging. No scratches or dents. Not super thick or heavy metal but will work for my home office. I was not able to add the casters as the wheels added height and it would not fit under my desk. So there is about an inch or inch and a half gap between the top of the file cabinet and my desk. The only complaint I have is the top drawer does not pull out all the way. There are several inches of space at the back of the drawer that can't been seen. Seems like wasted space. The Vail Bar Knobs are great! They're better than I expected. They appear to be good quality - nice weight and finish. I ordered the 10 pack in the satin nickel finish and they just what we wanted.
